Powertrain and Performance Comparison
The 2025 Chevy Colorado’s motive power is courtesy of the sole engine option, a TurboMax 2.7L Turbocharged engine producing 310 horsepower @5,600 rpm and 430 pound-feet of torque @3,000 rpm with an automatic stop/start feature.
Two eight-speed automatic transmission options are fitted depending on trim level, both with standard four-wheel drive plus two transfer case fitments, a single-speed Autotrac transfer case offering three modes, or an Autotrac 2-speed transfer case with push button controls and four modes.

Silverado models feature one of two 10-speed automatic transmissions with Electronic Precision shift four-wheel drive, an electronic shift 2-speed transfer case with push-button controls, and an automatic locking rear differential.
The Silverado 1500 can tow up to 36,000 pounds, depending on the chosen drivetrain.
Interior Differences
The Colorado’s modern interior seating up to five passengers is both hardwearing and versatile, with a generous features count.
Front bucket seats, an 11″ diagonal color Driver Information Center, manual-folding second-row 60/40 split-bench seat, climate control, rear passenger heating and air conditioning duct, power windows, and HD rear vision camera are just some of the standard interior items.
Infotainment sees fitment of a large 11.3-inch diagonal advanced color LCD display with Google built-in and a six-speaker audio system. Multi-touch functionality allows customization of the entertainment system and vehicle feature settings.
The Silverado 1500 can seat up to six passengers depending on trim, and its interior is dominated by its large dashboard with easy-to-use switchgear. A 3.5-inch diagonal monochromatic Driver Information Center offers a six-gauge cluster with a speedometer, fuel level, engine temperature, tachometer, voltage, and oil pressure.
Plenty of standard equipment includes a manual tilt steering column, remote keyless entry, push-button start, single-zone climate control, and dedicated climate vents and controls for rear-seat passengers.
Top trims get luxury features such as perforated leather front seat trim and ventilated driver and front passenger seats.
Chevy’s Infotainment 3 System with a seven-inch diagonal color touchscreen is standard. Upper trims receive a larger 13.4-inch touchscreen.
