2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 to Gain Three New Editions
The Chevy Silverado 1500 is going strong in its fourth generation, and it is getting ready to head into its third year. With the introduction of a new model year, there is a chance to introduce some exciting new changes, and the Chevy Silverado 1500 doesn’t disappoint. The popular truck will introduce a more powerful engine, some new features, and three new editions.
Here is a closer look at what you can get in the three new packages available on the 2021 Chevy Silverado:
All Star Edition Plus
The All Star Edition Plus package is available on the LT and RST trim levels. It includes 20-inch aluminum wheels with argent metallic pockets, as well as all the features that come in the Convenience Package II. The package includes:
- Two 120-volt power outlets (one in the bed)
- A rear-sliding power window
- A universal home remote (for the garage door system)
- An 8-inch color touchscreen for the infotainment system
- The Chevrolet Infotainment System(which includes HD radio, an HD rear vision camera, Sirius XM, and USB ports)
On the RST trim level, you also get a Bose premium sound system.
Texas Edition Plus
The Texas Edition Plus is available on the LT and RST trim levels, and it replaces the Texas Edition package offered on the 2020 Chevy Silverado.
The Texas Edition Plus offers the exact same features as the All Star Edition Plus, but it includes Texas Edition badging. The Texas Edition Plus is available in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. Outside those states, dealers have to order the All Star Edition Plus.
LTZ Premium Texas Edition
This edition is optional for the LTZ trim. It includes the LTZ Convenience Package II and the Safety Package II, which include the following features:
- 8-inch color touchscreen for the infotainment system
- Chevrolet Infotainment System
- Bose premium audio system
- Wireless charging for smart phones
- Forward collision alert
- Lane keep assist
- Automatic emergency braking
- Front pedestrian braking
- Adaptive cruise control
- Following distance indicator
- IntelliBeam headlamps
In addition to the features offered by these two packages, this edition also includes a power sunroof and Texas edition badging.
2021 Chevy Silverado 1500
The base model 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 includes a number of great features. The LT and RST trim both get standard features including dual-zone automatic climate control, heated seats and steering wheel, leather-wrapped steering wheel, more points of seat adjustment, and an auxiliary power outlet. The LT trim level includes even more features as standard.
